Reasons you may not see a credit card option when refunding

  • The transaction in question was processed as a (Non-Auth) there was no card charged, therefore there can be no return made.
  • Your business has had the merchant account changed after an ownership transfer or legal entity change. In this case the return can be made to Cash, Check, Account.
  • Your business has had the merchant account moved from one site to another. In this case the return can be made to Cash, Check or Account.
  • You requested your merchant account be closed.
  • Your staff permissions do not allow you to refund back to credit card. Your owner can adjust this if they login and give you this option.
  • Your transaction is new and can only be voided at this point.
  • Your merchant processor (e.g., EziDebit) does not allow returns through MINDBODY.
