Why can't I add a Service Category (No more "slots" available)?

SUMMARY

This article will assist you in fixing when you cannot add any more Service Categories.


CONDITIONS

  • There is a limit to how many Appointment Service Categories you can add to a site.  Usually it's 21 categories.

ANSWER

  1. Click on Home> Manager Tools> Settings> Service Categories.
  2. Click to expand Filters.
  3. Click box next to Show Inactive Service Categories on the far left.         
  4. If there are inactive Appointment Service Categories, you can click the Active box to activate it and use again (you can also change the name), but make SURE that you do not reactivate any unwanted Appointment Types and/or Pricing Options along with it.
  5. Click Save

Now you have that Service Category to work with when you go back to Home> Services and Pricing
