How do I set up cancellation windows?

Cancellation windows enable you to control how close to a class or appointment start time that a client can early cancel.

To set up class cancellation windows:

  1. Go to your Home tab and select Manager Tools from the submenu. From there, click on Settings and then select Class & Enrollment Options under Service Settings.

  2. Click to expand the Booking and Sign-in Policies section.

  3. In the Cancellation Windows section, enter the cancellation window in minutes. This is the number of minutes before a class starts that clients can no longer early cancel. However, if a client shows up after this time, they will still have the opportunity to late cancel their visit. For example, if clients must cancel more than an hour before the class begins, then you should set your cancellation window to be 60 minutes.

  4. Enter a cancellation window for each service listed.

  5. Click Update.

 

To set up appointment cancellation windows:

  1. Go to your Home tab and select Manager Tools from the submenu. From there, click on Settings and then select Appointment Options under Service Settings.

  2. Click to expand the Appointment System Policies section.

  3. In the Cancellation Windows section, enter the cancellation window in minutes. This is the number of minutes before an appointment starts that clients can no longer early cancel. For example, if clients must cancel their appointment more than 24 hours before the appointment begins, then you should set your cancellation window to be 1440 minutes.

  4. Enter a cancellation window for each service listed.

  5. Click Update.
