SUMMARY

You can set up an introductory special by designating a pricing option that your clients are allowed to buy only once.

For example, if you have a "New Client Promo" pricing option, then you can tell the system that each client can only buy it once. Once a client has bought it, it no longer shows up as an option inside your Online Store (Consumer Mode) or on the Retail screen (Business Mode).

Note: It is possible to add more than one intro offer if it is purchased at the same time and done only in Business Mode or using an application like FitMetrix.


CONDITION

  • If your new client has only purchased a product before, they will still be considered a New Client when purchasing a service, thus will have access to the New Client intro that you set up.

ANSWER

You can use one of the two options below to set up an introductory special:

From the Services & Pricing screen:

  1. Go to the Home tab.
  2. Click on the Services & Pricing link in the submenu on the top right.
  3. Select the Pricing link on the left side. 
  4. Click on +Add pricing option at the upper right.
  5. Enter the details of the pricing option. Click here to learn more about Pricing Options.
  6. Next to Is this an introductory offer?, select one of the following options to enable:
    • Yes, for new clients only: To allow only new clients to purchase this pricing option; clients who have not purchased a service yet and/or clients marked as "Prospects."
    • Yes, for new and existing clients: To Allow new and existing clients to purchase this pricing option; clients who are new or existing who have not purchased this pricing option before.
  7. Click Add or Save at the bottom of the screen.

 

From the Pricing Options screen:

  1. To find the pricing options screen, go the Home tab and select Manager Tools from the submenu.
  2. Choose Pricing Options at the top right under Pricing. 
  3. Click +Add in the top right corner. 
  4. Enter the details of the pricing option. Click here to learn more about Pricing Options.
  5. Scroll down to Advanced Settings, and find "Introductory offer." Check the box next to it. 
  6. When you check the Introductory offer box, you'll see two options next to "Who can buy this?" Select who you want to be able to purchase this pricing option. Note: If a new client has purchased a product only before, it will still consider them a new client, since they have never purchased a service.
    • New clients only: Clients who have not purchased a service yet and/or clients marked as "Prospects."
    • New and existing clients: Clients who are new or existing who have not purchased this pricing option (for a service) before.
  7. Click Add or Save at the bottom of the screen.
