Browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome can have add-ons installed. Add-ons are little applications, such as toolbars and online virus scanners, that add extra functionality to your browser, the most famous being the handy Google Toolbar.
However, we have found that some add-ons restrict the functionality of MINDBODY's ability to export to Excel. Specifically the Norton Confidential add-on, which is designed to make Internet surfing safer, but causes your Export to Excel feature to freeze until the year 2031.
If Norton Confidential isn't installed on your browser, but you still have the Export to Excel freezing issue, then you may want to disable other add-ons until your system exports to Excel without freezing. We don't recommend disabling add-ons with the name "Flash" or "Java" in their names. But nearly every other add-on can be safely disabled without prohibiting your browser from normal functionality. And if you find out that you really needed an add-on that was disabled, it's very easy to re-enable it.

To disable add-ons in Internet Explorer:

  1. Follow this menu path: Tools > Manage Add-ons > Enable or Disable Add-ons.
  2. Select add-ons from the Enabled section.
  3. Click on the Disable radio button.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Close and open Internet Explorer.
  6. Try to export to Excel.

To disable add-ons on Firefox:

  1. Follow this menu path: Tools > Add-ons.
  2. Click on the Extensions icon.
  3. Uninstall add-ons that you don't need (especially Norton Confidential).
  4. Close and open Firefox.
  5. Try to export to Excel.
