How do I know if a payment was processed successfully?

SUMMARY

If you processed a payment but need confirmation, there are three ways to verify a credit card charge or refund was processed.


ANSWER

1. Approved Transactions Report

If the payment or refund was completed the same day you are searching, you can go to your Approved Transactions Report to verify.

  1. Go to your Reports tab.
  2. Click the Payment Processing tab on the left.
  3. Select the Approved Transactions report.
  4. In the Quick Reference section, click on the links under the credit card payment method for more details.

 

2. The Client's Account

The Purchases screen in your client's profile will reflect what completed transactions.

  1. Look up a client.
  2. Click on the Purchases tab.
  3. Filter the Date Range.
  4. Use the link on the top right to "Go to detail view," or "Go to summary view."
  5. Your report will show the client's settled purchases by the date, amount, and services.

3. Settled Transactions Report

Your Settled Transactions report will show you the payments that have been successfully processed over a certain period of time once the charge has batched. To locate this report:

  1. Go to your Reports tab.
  2. Click the Payment Processing tab on the left.
  3. Select the Settled Transactions report.
