Due to changes that Apple and Java have made, you may experience issues with printing receipts if you are using the Print Automatically feature. To find out more about what versions of Java work with which browsers, please reference Java's documentation.

If you are receiving a notification that Java must be updated or has been blocked, please turn off the Print Automatically feature until Apple and Java have resolved the issue.

To turn off Print Automatically

Click on the Home tab and select Manager Tools from the submenu. Select Settings, and choose General Setup & Options under General Settings.

  1. Expand the Retail Settings section.
  2. Scroll down until you see the "Receipts - Print Automatically" option, and uncheck the "Enable" box.
  3. Click Update to save this change.
  4. From the paper size menu, select 72mm x 200mm. Then, save the preset for the future.
Note: If a paper size menu does not display, please make sure your browser's pop-up blocker has been disabled.
